Grok Bot users run out of usage early; Musk says serving costs were "unsustainably high"
Grok Bot users say their usage limits ran out much faster than usual this week. One user (@DogecoinNorway) posted that they had hit 100% with four days left before the reset, which normally never happens, then asked Elon Musk for a reset, saying many people reported the same. Musk replied: "The cost of serving Grok Bot was unsustainably high relative to revenue." No reset was offered.
Why it mattersMusk's reply reads as confirming that Grok Bot's limits have been tightened, but there's no official announcement of what changed or by how much. If you rely on Grok Bot for daily work or scheduled routines, check your usage meter and pace heavy tasks until the new limits are clear.
